SLS AMG Sets The Fastest Lap Time At Buddh Circuit
Buddh International Circuit, India's most advanced race track regularly attracts supercars and sports bikes from all over the country. The track is a darling of racing enthusiasts, who can take their machines to the peak and experience the thrill that cannot be achieved any place else in the country.
Besides automobile enthusiasts, Buddh International Circuit is also the place where automobile manufacturers go to when they feel like proving the performance of their cars and what could be a better way to showcase a car's performance than setting a new record.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is now the proud title holder of the fastest production car around the Buddh International Circuit.

Mercedes-Benz's flagship car, the SLS AMG lapped the circuit in a record 2 minutes 14.521 seconds.

The SLS AMG, which has been the safety car during F1 races for some years now, was driven by German Driver and AMG Driving Instructor Norman Simon.

Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India: "We are extremely thrilled with the feat the SLS AMG accomplished on the Buddh International Circuit. The car has proved its mettle time and time again across major racing tracks of the world and it is only fitting that in India too, it holds the title of the fastest lap achieved by a production car. Mercedes-Benz has a very dominant presence in the racing and motorsports arena, and this lineage is evident in our vehicle design and technology, both performance and aesthetics. The SLS AMG is the epitome of these elements making it the best in sportiness and fascination that Mercedes-Benz offers."
