Skoda Superb Facelift Revealed In Photos
Skoda Auto has released official images of its new Superb sedan ahead of its 2013 Shanghai Motor Show unveiling on 20th of this month. The Skoda Superb facelift features several updates made to the interior and to the exterior, while engine options remain the same.
"The Skoda Superb is the pinnacle of our model line-up and proves its capability as a manufacturer. The present comprehensive facelift has made our top model even more attractive," said Skoda CEO Winfried Vahland. "The Skoda Superb offers comfort beyond the middle-class standard. This means lots of room, excellent functionality, high comfort, top safety, great value for money and timeless elegance. We are always intent on offering our customers a little bit extra car." Starting with the interior, it now comes with a redesigned four spoked steering wheel, a new gear lever stick, electronically adjustable driver seat, reverse parking assist and new colour schemes.

The outside of the Superb facelift sees the typical changes made to the face of the vehicle. This comes in the form of redesigned headlights and fog lamps. The Bi-Xenon headlights come with integrated LED daytime running lights. The rear lamps have also been redesigned. Other changes include, new bumpers, grille design, front fenders and bonnet.

Engine options remain the same, which include a 1.8 liter TSI petrol, a 3.6 liter V6 petrol and a 2.0 liter TDI, with the transmission options of six speed manual and seven speed DSG automatic for the 1.8 liter petrol engine and a six speed DSG for the diesel and the V6.

The new Skoda Superb facelift will be provided with options of 16 and 18 inch alloy wheels and two new metallic colours - Meteor Grey and Moon White - to choose from.

Though an official timeframe has not been given, the Skoda Superb facelift is expected to arrive on Indian shores by the end of this year.
