Rolls Royce Wraith To Be Launched In India Next Week
Rolls Royce Wraith, the sportiest Rolls Royce ever, will makes it arrive in India next week, possibly on 23rd. The new Wraith was revealed in March this year at the Geneva Motor Show and was first launched in the U.K.
Concealed underneath the long front bonnet is a massive 6.6 liter twin turbocharged V12 petrol engine which generates a supercar equivalent 624 HP and 800 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission, which facilitates all wheel drive.

The powerful engine enables the Wraith to achieve an impressive straight line speed, propelling it from 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds. The suspensions have also been stiffened to offer better control while cornering. But in the end it is still a heavy Rolls Royce, which means one should not get too enthusiastic behind the wheels. We presume the Wraith would offer similar driving characteristics as the other luxury sporty car, the Bentley Continental GT.

Get behind the wheels of the Wraith and luxury and sportiness is not all that you will experience. Rolls Royce has introduced some very advanced technical features such as the dynamic transmission, which selects the proper gear in advance depending on the road ahead, and this it determines by collecting data using satellite transmission from GPS mapping. Then there are the 1,340 tiny LED lamps embedded individually into the roof lining to give the feeling of a starry night.
Expect the Rolls Royce Wraith to be priced around INR 5 crores. We'll be back with more details once the India launch takes place.
