Renault Twin'Run Concept Unveiled In Monaco

Renault Twin'Run Concept showcased at last weekend's Monaco Grand Prix follows the Twin'Z concept that was revealed last month. Unlike the Twin'Z, the Twin'Run explores the ‘Play' stage of life and thus features a sporty design, with some aggression under the bonnet.

The Twin'Run Concept is also a tribute model to the Renault 5 Turbo rally car and the Clio V6, characterized by its blue body colour and the large ‘5' track livery on the door. Even the four large LED headlights are a modern take on the light racks used during nighttime rally racing.

Unlike most concepts, the Twin'Run is a fully functional model that is capable running wild on the racetrack. The car features a lightweight carbon composite and aluminium body and chassis, with full anti-roll bars. Meanwhile, Racing suspensions and aerodynamic design features keeps it true to its racing car heritage.

Even on the inside the race car character can be seen, with its racing seats and full racing harness, minimalistic steering wheel and a rally car style handbrake lever. Performance details and official images can be seen in the gallery below.
