Renault Scala Base RxE Diesel Trim Launched

The base diesel Renault Scala variant comes without passenger side airbags, automatic climate control and power windows. However, it does retain several other crucial driver aids such as anti-lock braking system, brake assist, electronic brake distribution system and engine immobiliser. Scala RxE diesel does provide driver seat airbags.
Renault Scala RxE diesel continues to be powered by the 1.5-litre k9K unit that also powers the RxL and RxZ variants. The engine delivers 85 HP and 200 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine can only be configured with the five speed manual transmission that delivers power to the front wheels.
