Renault Price Hike In January 2014 Announced
After Audi, BMW, Hyundai, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Maruti, Nissan & Tata it's now Renault that has announced that it will hike prices across its product portfolio in India.
Renault has, however, not announced the percentage of price hike like other manufacturers have, but it is sure vary based on model. The price hike will be brought into effect from January 2014 like the rest.

The recent spree of price hike announcements is the result of rupee depreciation, which in turn increases cost of raw material, thereby increasing production cost.

"Due to unavoidable macro-economic factors such as increasing rates, input costs, Renault India will increase prices across its product range in January. We will provide more information on the price increase soon, although this will be as per industry standards," said Mr. Sumit Sawhney- Executive Director Sales and Marketing, Renault India.
To dampen the negative effect of the price increase and to make itself attractive to potential customers the French automaker will provide a few attractive benefits on purchase of a Renault. These include an additional two year warranty, exchange benefits, three years insurance and 24x7 road assistance.
