Renault Intros Duster ‘RxZ Plus’ Diesel Variant
Renault, after after paying heed to customer feedback, has introduced a new ‘RxZ Plus' diesel engine variant. To be more exact, the new variant is not exactly new, but the same as the previously available RxZ Option Pack, minus the rear AC vents.
This change was reportedly brought about after consulting with existing Duster owners. Those who own the top-spec ‘RxZ Option Pack', which features the rear AC vent column, complained that it compromised legroom and was particularly a problem when seating three passengers.
Thus, the new Duster RxZ Plus comes sans the rear air-vent. It is not clear whether the vents have been moved to the roof. Apart from this the new variant is the same in every other way and features leather seats, a satellite navigation system and faux wood finish from the previous RxZ Option Pack.
The engine on offer, the 110 PS power, 248 Nm torque, 1.5 liter turbodiesel unit, remains unchanged as well. The price, however, has gone down by Rs 5,000. The revised, RxZ Plus trim comes for INR 12.13 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
