Profusion Typhoon Now Available In India

Profusion Excotic Cars is a new name in the Indian automobile market, which has announced its first road legal automobile for India. This automobile manufacturer from United Kingdom already sells track day cars in the country, but these are not sold to regular customers.

Profusion Typhoon will be the company's first road legal car, which is a two seater open cabin sports racer similar to the Ariel Atom and KTM X-Bow. The manufacturer has started accepting bookings and expects to start delivery by the second half of the year.

Engine

Profusion Typhoon is a hand built car, which uses a 1.8 liter, 4 cylinder engine, with an option to upgrade to a 2.0 liter unit.

Power & Torque

Power and torque delivery is 145bhp (147PS, 108KW) @5800 rpm and 139lbft (188Nm) @4800 rpm respectively

Transmission System

5 speed manual transmission, with 1 reverse. No option of an automatic gearbox is available.

Performance

The car weighs just 630 kgs, which gives it amazing power to weight ratio of 230 bhp/tonne. This gives it a top speed of 210 km/h and a 0 - 60 mph (96 km/h) time of just 4.3 seconds.
