Sebastien Loeb Drive 875HP Peugeot on Mont Ventoux
The 875 HP Peugeot 208 T16 came out in the wild for the first time for one last real world test drive before it heads to 2013 Pikes Peak Hill Climb in Colorado. The hill climb happens on June 30.
Sébastien Loeb, the man who has been selected to drive Peugeot to the clouds, took tested the machine on the winding roads of Mount Ventoux in France. These roads, which also host part of the Tour de France cycling race, is the closest to what Sébastien Loeb will encounter during Pikes Peak Hill Climb.
"This is an important run because Pikes Peak is very different from a nice, smooth race track. It is vital for us to evaluate the car on a terrain that is more like what we will find in the States. This road will give us a reasonably accurate idea," said Sébastien Loeb.
