Nissan Terrano India Unveiling On August 20
Revealed first in the form of renderings a few weeks back, Nissan has now announced that it will give Indian customers the first view of the Terrano compact SUV on August 20th.
Nissan Terrano is a rebadged version of Renault Duster. However, Nissan's offering is a lot different to look at, thanks to several small exterior changes. All the changes combined, it gives the Terrano a totally different look, more akin to Nissan's own SUV models.

The front and rear fascia both differ from the Duster and so does the bonnet. The rear features a split tail lights, part of which appears on the boot lid. Even the side of the SUV features a differentiating crease.
Inside, the Terrano is expected to provide buyers with a more premium experience compared to the Duster. At the same time, Nissan will also charge a premium over the Duster‘s asking price. Anywhere from Rs 50,000 to 1 lakh. The reason for this being, the Terrano is a derivative of the Renault Duster, a rule of the partnership the two companies share.

The engine powering the Terrano, however, will be the 1.5 litre K9K diesel unit, at least one of it. Stay tuned for more updates about the Terrano.
