Nissan Micra Facelift Launch Tomorrow

The next gen Nissan Micra will make its Indian arrival tomorrow. The Micra facelift, while competing in the premium hatchback segment, did not have the right sort of styling or equipment to do well against the rest of the lot. Its rather dull styling and bland interiors left much to be desired. Nissan is looking to give the Micra's image a makeover with a more contemporary styling with the facelift.

The front of the new Micra will wear the current Nissan family design theme, where the hood has a slight bulge and the headlights and the fog lamp housing both have an angular design. There is also the ‘V' shaped chrome piece on the front grille and the restyled air dam with chrome inserts. Appropriate changes in the form of use of better quality material and a slightly redesigned interior instruments, inserts etc., will make their way into the Micra facelift.

The engine options will remain the same. However, the 75 PS, 1.2 liter petrol and the 65 PS, 1.5 liter diesel are both expected to be more refined. Also, an automatic variant will be provided via the petrol engine. Check back tomorrow for all the details, including the price.
