Nissan Gives Usain Bolt His Own Gold Painted GT-R
The gold painted Nissan GT-R was developed with inputs from the World's Fastest Man, Usain Bolt last year. Initially, the gold painted Nissan GT-R was thought to be a one off, that was auctioned in December last year, with the proceeds going to the Usain Bolt Foundation for the aid of children in Jamaica.
The gold plaited Nissan GT-R was auctioned for US$187,100 (INR 1.01 crores) and the car will be delivered to the owner in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Nissan has made yet another gold painted GT-R and this one has been handed over to Usain Bolt himself.
The gold painted Nissan GT-R was developed keeping in mind Bolt's driving preferences and style. The car was handed over to him on May 5 at his training facility in Jamaica. Beside the unique gold paint job, the Bolt branded Nissan GT-R sports 10 spoke RAYS hyper-titanium color-coated forged wheels. The insides are covered with leather in contrasting black and white. The car is also fitted with a Bose audio system.
