Nissan Confirms All New, Next-Gen GT-R For 2015
Nissan GT-R, as we know it now was introduced some 5 years back. Ever since its launch the Japanese supercar has struck terror in the hearts of other, more expensive supercars, even from higher segments.
The GT-R is no short of a legend, known as a giant killer and Godzilla for the same reason. The most remarkable thing about the GT-R is how Nissan has managed to maintain its reputation with subsequent versions over the years.
The GT-R has evolved, has adopted new technologies, increased its power output. Despite its design having remained virtually unchanged since the debut of the current gen R35 model back in 2007-08 the car has managed to keep its rivals at bay. But change is inevitable and necessary if it needs to continue dominating.

At the recently held Nissan 360 global press event held in California, a Nissan representative revealed to Motor Trend that the all new GT-R will be a 2016 model year in no uncertain terms. This would mean the new gen GT-R will be revealed at least by the latter half of 2015.
Nissan GT-R has increased in power and performance, but going forward increase in power is likely to be achieved through the use of a hybrid powertrain. The same way several manufacturer is going forward these days. A hybrid GT-R is most definitely going to the future.
