VW Jetta Facelift Launched; Price Rs 13.70 Lakhs
VW has launched the latest version of its Jetta sedan with a starting price of INR 13.70 lakhs. The facelifted Jetta is available in three variants - Highline, Comfortline and base Trendline - and they come with a few notable new features. The highest trim level is available for INR 19.43 lakhs.
Starting from the exterior, the top of the line Highline variant is now available with LED daytime running lights, Xenon headlights and headlamp washers as standard. The two other lower variants now sport new 16 inch ‘Sedona' alloy wheels as standard.
Meanwhile, all three variants have now been equipped with dual zone automatic climate control as standard.
Mechanically, the new Jetta remains unchanged. The sedan comes with the 1.4 liter TSI and 2.0 liter TDI engine rated at 122 HP/200 Nm of torque and 140 HP/320 Nm of torque respectively. 6 speed manual transmission is fitted as standard, while the 6 speed DSG automatic is available as an option with the 2.0 liter diesel engine.
The petrol engine delivers an ARAI certified mileage of 14.69 kmpl. The diesel engine delivers 19.33 kmpl with the manual and 16.96 kmpl with the automatic transmission.
