New Maruti Suzuki SX4 Starts At Rs 7.38 Lakhs
Maruti Suzuki has launched the facelifted SX4 sedan with a starting price of INR 7.38 lakhs, which is the same as the outgoing model, unlike what an earlier report had said.
The petrol variant of the SX4 was launched in 2007, while the diesel variant came to India in 2011. Since its introduction the automaker has sold 1.08 lakh units, making it Maruti Suzuki's slowest selling model. With the introduction of styling updates the company hopes to change the sedan's fortunes.
The new SX4 sedan gets a redesigned, broader front grille, with horizontal chrome bands, along with dual tone fog lamp inserts. The indicator lamps are now integrated in the outside rear view mirrors, which can now be electronically folded. The high end variants will be offered a multimedia touch screen with sat nav. Other changes include a higher quality upholstery, dual tone interior and chrome finish side handles. Pricing information can be found after the break.

Powertrain options for the new SX4 remain the same - a petrol, a turbo diesel and CNG.
Prices are as follows (Ex-showroom, New Delhi):
Petrol VXi: INR 738,115
Petrol ZXi: INR 824,765
Diesel VDi: INR 827,458
Diesel ZDi: INR 921,669
Petrol/CNG VXi: INR 799,974
Maruti Suzuki claims an average mileage of 16.51 kmpl for the petrol variant, 21.79 kmpl for the diesel and 22.1 kmpl for the CNG variant.
