2014 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV To Be Launched At Auto Show In February

Hyundai will launch the 2014 Santa Fe SUV in India in Feb at the Auto Show. The new santa Fe is expected to perform a lot better in India than its predecessor as Hyundai has identified the weak links and will sort it out with the coming of the new model

To start with, the new Santa Fe looks a lot more appealing than the outgoing model. The new SUV is modern, inside and outside, which should give it an edge over its competitors such as Toyota Fortuner and Chevrolet Captiva.

However, the more significant change will be in the pricing. Hyundai will turn the Santa Fe into a locally assembled model. The full sized SUV will come out from the manufacturer's Chennai facility. This would mean the vehicle will be relatively more affordable compared to competitors.

2014 Hyundai Santa Fe is expected to have a starting price of INR 22 lakhs for the entry level two wheel drive variant. This model will come both with manual and automatic transmissions. The all wheel drive variant, on the other hand, will only be provided with automatic transmission and will be powered by the existing 2.2 liter diesel engine.
