MINI Countryman And Paceman Gain All Wheel Drive
Mini has extended its ‘All4' all-wheel drive system to two additional models, Cooper Countryman and Cooper Paceman. Mini now offers a total of 10 models with all-wheel drive configuration. Previously, only the turbocharged Cooper S and John Cooper Works variants were available with all-wheel drive system.
The all-wheel drive Countryman and Cooper Paceman will be fitted with 1.6 liter inline four cylinder petrol engines. Coupled to the 6 speed manual transmission the engine is capable of producing 122 HP power and 160 Nm of peak torque. When mated to the 6 speed automatic the torque figure goes up to 190 Nm.

Mini Cooper Countryman with ‘All4' system achieves 100 km/h in 11.9 seconds with the manual gearbox and in 11.7 seconds with the automatic.

Top speed for Cooper Countryman with ‘All4' system is 184 km/h with the manual and 182 km/h with the automatic.

With ‘All4' system Cooper Countryman delivers a fuel economy of 14.5 kmpl, while CO2 emission figure will be 167 g/km using manual transmission.

Cooper Paceman with ‘All4' system can reach 100 km/h in 11.8 seconds with the manual and in 11.6 with the automatic transmission.

Top speed for Cooper Paceman with ‘All4' is 185 km/h and 183 km/h with the manual and automatic transmissions respectively.

The fuel economy and emission figures remain the same for the Cooper Paceman with ‘All4' system.
