Mercedes Benz E 63 AMG Launched; Price Rs 1.29 Cr
Its here. The 2014 Mercedes E 63 AMG performance sedan, one of the most powerful sedan on offer by the brand with the three pointed star. The E 63 AMG is priced at INR 1.29 crores (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Mercedes Benz launched the E 63 AMG today at Buddh International Circuit in Delhi. The company will offer the E 63 AMG in India as a CBU, which explains the whopping price tag. The more powerful E 63 AMG S trim has not been introduced in India.
Engine
The E 63 AMG has under the bonnet a large 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 engine that outputs an incredible 557 HP and 720 Nm of torque.
Transmission
There is the 7 speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, but pity it's only a rear wheel drive car.
Performance
But that is still good enough to reach 100km/h in a 4.2 second. Top speed, as always, is electronically limited to 250km/h.
AMG Sports exhaust
Being an AMG model, the E 63 also boast of AMG sports exhaust and you are alerted to its existence by the twin chrome tailpipes forming a part of the rear bumper unit with the rear diffuser.
Front fascia
The front is adorned with the trademark AMG A Wing. The twin air splitter, the twin blade mounted Merc logo, along with the all-LED headlamps add to the charisma.
Interior
Moving on inside, you get a blacked out cabin, covered in rich Nappa leather and Alcantara covering the AMG sports seats and the steering wheel rim.
