2013, was Mercedes-Benz's ‘ Year of Offensive' The year seen them focus on profitable, strong and sustained growth, that would maintain their foundation in the Indian market. They also focussed on their four pillars of Products, Network, Cost of Ownership and Brand experience.
Network Expanded Quantitatively & Qualitatively:
Expansion of network aggressively with 9 new touch points in cities like New Delhi, Baroda, Coimbatore, Noida, Gurgaon, Rajkot, New Mumbai, Lucknow and Pune. Mercedes-Benz has the largest touchpoints in Luxury segment,a total of 58 outlets located in 32 Indian cities.
They also inaugurated the largest luxury car showroom in Delhi. There was an equal focus on increasing customer experience at dealerships & introducing iPad based applications such as iSales.

Low Cost Of Ownership Initiatives:
‘My Mercedes' program uses the industry's best initiatives and service products, which enhance the overall ‘Ownership Experience'. After-Sales initiatives like, a National Remote Diagnostic Centre, reinvigorating the 24 hours On-Road Assistance. Comprehensive service packages like the Star Care, Star Care+ and Star Ease will provide an absolute hassle free experience of owning a Mercedes-Benz vehicle.
Mercedes-Benz India also offers highly affordable service packages and Extended Warranty Programs. STAR CARE programme warranties repair up to 3 years without any mileage limitations, as standard. Star Care Plus also offers 4th year extended warranty which enhances resale value.
Mercedes-Benz India is the only luxury car manufacturer to offer Road Side Assistance (RSA) Packages as a standard offering for 3 years and can be purchased for 4 to 5 year individually.
The German automobile giant, offered ‘Flexinomics' which gives tailor made financial solutions. Innovative products like ‘STAR Supersonic' provided extremely fast loan approval in a matter of 30 minutes.
STAR Agility is another unique and innovative product from Mercedes-Benz Financial Services which makes it flexible and affordable to own a Mercedes-Benz.

The year 2013 concluded with Mercedes-Benz India inaugurating its state-of-the-art ‘Centre of Excellence'. Created especially for its exclusive customers, it is a magnificent showroom of modern luxury, it sets new benchmarks in luxury car experience.
The Centre of Excellence features a dedicated helipad that can be used by exclusive customers who want to fly-in and fly-out, providing the highest level of convenience and ease in purchasing their desired luxury car.
Products offered during ‘The Year of Offensive' were, G 63 AMG, a car thats an ultimate off- roader, with a high-performance engine. The GL class a full-size luxury SUV crossover. A-Class the first "Compact Luxury" for India by Mercedes. The B-Class Diesel Variant was a great addition to luxury touring cars.
The other cars were the E-Class that changed the mid-size luxury segment. E 63 AMG is the best combination of a luxury sedan and sports car. Celebrating 10 million C-Class's sold globally the Edition C-Class was launched in India. Last but not the least SLK 55 AMG a performance car, that is every boys track day dream tool.
