Maruti Suzuki SX4 Facelift: Images & Price Leaked

Thanks to a scoop by the guys from MotorBash earlier this week, the very first images of the 2014 model year Maruti Suzuki SX4 facelift have debuted on the internet. Now, the same publication has also revealed the detailed pricing information about the upcoming SX4.

The SX4 facelift, which is sure to be launched sometime during the next few months, will be offered in 10 different variants. Price for the SX4 VXI base variant begins at INR 7.64 lakhs and goes till INR 8.27 lakhs for the SX4 VXI CNG model. Go through the slide below to see the detailed pricing information.

Here you can see the older and the upcoming SX4 models side by side, which gives a very clear image of all the changes that are to be expected.

The most obvious changes are concentrated around the front fascia of the car, which now sports a redesigned grille, bumper, air intake and indicators that will be embedded on the rear of the outside mirrors. (not seen in the images).

The new, bolder and broader looking face of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki SX4.The automaker will have for offer at least two new exterior colours - Grey and Blue.

Other major changes are on the inside, which will now get a dual tone colour scheme.

The top of the line ZXi variant is likely to feature a touch screen infotainment display, with built-in satnav system.

Other changes include chrome trims on the interior and faux wood panels.

The rear of the car mostly retains the existing look

Also, the engine options - 1.6 liter VVT petrol unit and the 1.3 liter DDIS diesel unit - remain the same. Both manual and automatic transmissions will be offered, with the auto unit limited to the petrol variants.
