Maruti Suzuki Launches Limited Edition Swift Star
One of Suzuki's major globally successful product has been the Swift premium hatchback. The car, launched in 2004 in Japan has since been introduced in over 125 countries and everywhere the hatchback has been received well. Particularly so in India, which accounts for about 45 percent of global Swift sales.
Now, after nearly a decade since entering production more than 3 million (30 lakh) Swifts have been sold worldwide. The Japanese automaker has now announced a limited edition celebration model called Swift Star, which comes with a few cosmetic upgrades.
The limited edition Maruti Suzuki Swift Star will feature a double-DIN audio system with Bluetooth, two speakers, ‘art leather' seat covers, steering wheel cover, designer floor mats and on the outside, a rear roof mounted spoiler. The limited edition model will only be available for the base and middle variants of the Swift.
The limited edition Swift Star will cost Rs 23,000 more than the standard version, which is still a bargain. The standard Swift Swift Star LXI and VXI variants cost INR 4.77 lakhs and INR 5.20 lakhs respectively.
