Maruti Suzuki Swift RS Limited Edition
One of India's favourite hatchback model, Maruti Suzuki Swift, has not received as many limited or special edition models as one might expect. The last limited edition Swift was released to commemorate the occasion of selling its one millionth car. That special edition though, was not much of a looker.
The latest limited edition Swift, thankfully, brings to the road what many Indians crave for. A sporty model. Dubbed the Swift RS, the name alone gives away its sporty credentials, but the name over states it because do not go expecting a tweaked engine, sports exhaust, suspension package and such things. The Swift RS Limited Edition package is strictly limited to how the car looks and nothing more. Good enough for the price.
Maruti Suzuki RS Limited Edition package offers, as you can see, ‘sporty' blue graphics, along with the ‘RS' letters on the sides and front.
The Swift RS comes with a three piece body kit, which includes a front bumper, a rear bumper and a roof spoiler.
Lastly, the wheel covers have been painted black and the mirror covers, blue.
Moving inside, the first thing one will notice are the illuminated sill plates in blue, which are on all four doors.
The white and blue theme has been carried over to the interior as well. The art leather on the seats get the same dual colour treatment and so do the floor mats.
Entertainment needs are covered by a sound system, fitted with a CD Player, AUX input and a USB port.

The limited edition Swift RS package is priced at Rs 24,500/- and is available for both the VXi and VDi variants.
