Zero Waiting Period For Swift Booked By March 17
It looks like Maruti Suzuki is feeling the heat as it rivals, specially Hyundai gains popularity. The Suzuki Swift, the automaker's full sized hatchback, which at one point of time was the most popular vehicle in this segment, is facing decline in sales figures. The manufacturer managed to sell 19,534 units of Swift in February. Compared to last year's numbers from the same month that is a 6 percent drop.
In a bid to attract more buyers Maruti announced a deal earlier this week, which will let buyers take delivery of their Swift diesel hatchbacks immediately. No waiting period what so ever. Does that sound tempting? If you feel so, then you should contact your nearest Maruti Suzuki dealer immediately and book a Swift diesel because the offer lasts only till Sunday, March 17.

Team BHP, which contacted a dealer, says that the offer is valid only for certain variants of Swift diesel - LDi and VDi variants. The top end variant, ZDi will still take a month to get delivered.
While we do not know whether this sales strategy has paid off for Maruti, we can be certain of one thing. India's largest automaker in terms of sales will face further competition with the launch of Honda's Amaze compact sedan, which will take on directly, Maruti Suzuki's Swift Dzire compact sedan.
