Maruti Ritz buzZ Limited Edition Launched

All the ‘buzz' in the Indian automotive scene these days surrounds compact sedans and compact SUVz. Maruti Suzuki's own Swift DZire has hogged much of the limelight. During these times the automaker's Ritz hatchback is one car that has received no attention. To make sure that buyers do not altogether forget the Ritz, Maruti has introduced a limited edition model dubbed Ritz@buzZ.

Maruti Suzuki has not revealed how much the limited edition features in the Ritz@buzZ would cost. The Ritz is offered with the option of a petrol 1.2 liter K-Series engine, rated at 87 PS, 114 Nm and a 1.3 liter FIAT Multijet turbo diesel engine, rate at 75PS, 190 Nm. A five speed manual transmission is offered as standard, with a 4 speed automatic available as optional upgrade.

The limited edition Ritz@buzZ, Maruti Suzuki says, adds 12 new features. These are as follows:

Stylish body graphics
Strong bumper protector
Smart door visor (Though it does not mention what makes the visor smart)
Elegant steering wheel cover
Durable mud flaps
