Suzuki Eritga Automatic Launched In Indonesia
Suzuki Ertiga, with the automatic transmission has been launched in Indonesia. Ertiga family MPV is manufactured in India and shipped as CKD to Indonesia, where it is assembled in Suzuki's Jakarta plant.
Suzuki Ertiga is offered in both manual and automatic transmission variants in Indonesia. The automatic variant of the Ertiga starts at Rp 173.8 million and goes up to Rp 185.8 million (INR 9.6 lakhs to INR 10.26 lakhs). The manual variant on the other hand will range from Rp 148 million to Rp 174.8 million (INR 8.17 lakhs to INR 9.65 lakhs).
The Swift based MPV, Ertiga is powered by the K14B engine, with variable valve timing. The engine delivers 95PS power at 6,000 rpm and produces a peak torque of 130 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5 speed automatic transmission.
Outside of India, Suzuki now sells the Ertiga MPV in two markets. The Ertiga automatic was revealed in Indonesia last year, while the model debuted in Thailand in March this year. Suzuki Ertiga is also sold wearing the Mazda VX-1 badge in Indonesia, where the two Japanese automakers have a production partnership.
