How To Ruin A Beautiful Ferrari F12berlinetta
Anyone familiar with the Ferrari 599 GTB family of supercars will agree that the Italian supercar maker did a fine job when they introduced the successor, the F12 Berlinetta last year. But for some people a stock car is never an option and catering to their needs are custom car designers such as Mansory. Their latest creation is an abomination called Mansory Stallone based on the F12.
"The specialist from Brand in Bavaria, Germany, has taken the Ferrari F12 and proven again with the STALLONE conversion that the company knows how to refine Italian super sports cars.," says Mansory. By refinement they mean the ECU upgrades they have done to the 6.0-liter V12 engine, which slightly boosts its output from 740 HP and 509 lb-ft torque to 775 HP and 535 lb-ft of torque. But refinement to the design? We beg to differ.
In the name of customization Mansory has added several carbon fiber bits and parts to a white bodied F12, which far from enhancing the looks, destroys it. We are sure they serve no functional purpose either. The carbon pasted on the hood for example and the three carbon stripes on the rear. Its better we do not get started about the interior, which turns the clean and classy interior of the F12 into a joke. Images are in the gallery below.
