Mahindra Xylo D2 MAXX 9 Seater Launch Price of Rs Rs 7.12 lakh
Mahindra has introduced an economical people carrier for cab and tour vehicle operators in the form of a cut cost 9 seater Xylo variant. Xylo D2 MAXX 9 seater replaces the front facing third row seat with side facing twin benches. This provides a 2+3+4 seating configuration.
Mahindra Xylo D2 MAXX is available for INR 7.12 lakhs, which pits it against similarly priced MPVs such as Chevrolet Enjoy, Tata Sumo Gold, Maruti Ertiga, the newly launched Ashok Leyland Stile and even the base variant Toyota Innova.

It's not just the extra seats that are different. The Xylo D2 MAXX can be differentiated by its non-body coloured panels. This includes the all black front rear bumpers, wheel arches, door handles, wing mirrors and steel wheels.
The 9 seater Xylo is powered by a 2.5 liter mDI CRDe engine producing 95 PS power and 220 Nm torque. The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission that turns the rear wheels. The vehicle has a claimed fuel economy figure of 14.95 kmpl.
