Mahindra XUV500 W4 Variant: Price, Features & Specifications
Its official now. Mahindra announced the long expected base variant of its popular XUV500 on Nov 6. The W4 base variant is available at a price of INR 10.95 lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Other variant price details of the Mahindra XUV500 can be found in our database.
Mahindra XUV500 W4 continues to be powered by the 2.2 liter variable geometry turbocharged mHawk diesel engine capable of delivering 140 bhp and 330 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6 speed transmission which transfers power to the rear wheels. XUV500 W4 delivers an ARAI certified mileage of 15.1 km/l.
The question on a buyers mind would be the features on offer with the new base variant. In general, XUV500 is known for its rich package of safety and electronic amenities. Potential buyers would be pleased to know that Mahindra has managed to retain several of the features from the higher variants and those which have not made it to this variant will not be missed by the occupants.

Available list of features include projector headlamps with LEDs, Dual Airbags, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), side impact beams, crash protection with crumple zones, all wheel disc brakes, twin air-conditioning, power & tilt steering, power adjustable ORVMs, remote central locking, 6-way adjustable driver seats, fully foldable 2nd & 3rd row seats, integrated music system with CD/MP3 & with 4 Speakers and twin air-con.
