Mahindra Verito Vibe Confirmed For 5th June Launch

"Verito Vibe will continue to offer the well acclaimed strengths of the Verito, including class-leading space and comfort, robust build and the ever reliable 1.5 Litre dCi diesel engine. Designed and developed entirely in-house by Mahindra, the Verito Vibe is smartly packaged in a sub-4 metre length on the proven Verito platform," Mahindra says in its press release.
The Renault sourced K9K 1.5 litre diesel engine delivers an average mileage of 20 kmpl. There is no word yet on the availability of a petrol engine as of now. Pricing and other details will be revealed on launch date.
With the Verito Vibe, Mahindra has saved itself a lot of effort involved in bringing a new compact sedan. While we have seen hatchbacks growing a boot and metamorphosing into a compact sedans, a sedan losing its extended boot to turn into a compact sedan is a first.
The Verito Vibe's distinct design feature are the large rear lamps that extend all the way up to the roof, in turn becoming a part of the c-pillar. We'll have to wait and see how customers take to the unconventional design.
