Mahindra Price Hike To Be Implemented
Yes, that's another price hike announcement from another manufacturer and this time it's Mahindra, the only other Indian company that had not yet done so.

The reason for the price hike is the same as the rest, which is to offset the additional input costs resulting from increase in price of raw materials. Mahindra will increase prices of its models by as much as 2 percent and it will take effect from Jan 2014.
"We have been holding back prices for a while but now it has become necessary to raise them to partly compensate the increase in materials, input and freight costs. As always, Mahindra remains committed to its customers," said Pravin Shah, Chief Executive, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
The other manufacturers which have announced price hike include in the past couple of weeks include, Audi, BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Maruti, Nissan, Renault, Tata Motors & Volkswagen.
