Mahindra Tractors Reach 2 Million Mark
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd's,. farm equipment division, which is one of the world's leading tractor manufacturer, has rolled out its 2 millionth tractor from the company's Kandivali plant in Mumbai, India. This milestone was achieved on February 27, 2013.
One of India's leading automaker, the company had reached the 1 million tractor mark in 2004 and has managed to repeat the performance in 8 short years. A special event was held at the Kandivali plant, which was presided by Dr. Pawan Goenka, President, Automotive & Farm Equipment Sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, workers, union members and other officials. Dr. Goenka rolled out the 20 millionth tractor. It is still to be seen who will purchase this vehicle, which is now part of history.
