Land Rover Defender LXV 65th Anniversary Edition
Land Rover has turned 65 years old and the automaker celebrated the birthday on April 30 at its first testing ground at Packington Estate near Solihull. A special birthday cake shaped like ‘HUE', the first production Land Rover, was flown in by a Royal Navy Lynx helicopter.
The 65th anniversary event featured 130 Land Rover vehicles and also a special edition Defender to mark the event. The Land Rover Defender LXV. The ‘LXV' here is simply the Roman numeral for 65. More information in the gallery below.

Land Rover Defender LXV is based on the regular Defender 90 Hard Top model.

Land Rover Defender LXV is fitted with a 2.2 liter diesel engine rated at 120 HP and 360 Nm of torque. Power is handled by a 6 speed manual transmission.

Defender LXV features a special Santorini Black body pain, with contrasting Corris Grey paint for the roof, whole of front facia and the wheels.

The wheels are 16 inch alloys with a ‘Sawtooth' spoke design.

The ‘LXV' badges adorn the vehicle at various places, including the interior.



The Union Jack flag decal, along with the Land Rover badge and the ‘LXV' marking.

Black leather seats are standard on the Defender LXV, with contrasting orange stitchings, on the seats and the steering wheel.

Land Rover Defender LXV has a starting price of £28,765 (INR 24,00,821) in the U.K.
