Lamborghini Tractors India Debut On December 12
Lamborghini, the Italian supercar manufacturer, will appear in India soon in a whole new avatar. The bull logo, this time, will not be seen on its sleek sports cars, but on tractors.
That's right. Lamborghini branded tractors will be launched in the country on December 2. The launch will take place in Pune at the Agri Kisan exhibition.
In case you are not aware, Lamborghini was a tractor manufacturer before it turned into an Italian supercar marque. However, in 1973 its farm equipments division was acquired by another Italian firm, SAME Deutz-Fahr (SDF). But these tractors continue to wear the bull logo.

Lamborghini tractors will be initially targeted towards high net worth individuals and organizations. In other words, wealthy farmers, golf courses, luxury hotels, cricket stadiums and the likes.

Incidentally, SDF has had a presence in India for sometime now, operating out of its manufacturing facility in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. But it has been exporting all the products out of the facility to markets in Europe and Southeast Asia.

Bhanu Sharma, managing director and CEO, SDF India commented, "We are thrilled to launch this beautiful Lamborghini tractor in India. Highly popular abroad, Lamborghini has won the hearts of many across the globe and I am confident the same story will be repeated here."
