Lamborghini's New Nitro Tractor
Those who are not familiar with auto-lore might find it hard to believe that the Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy based supercar maker once used to make only tractors and was one of the largest farm equipment manufacturer in the country.
Supercars came much later, following owner Ferruccio Lamborghini's bad experience with his Ferrari 250GT's clutch. After which, he decided to start building GT and supercars. Lamborghini's tractor business still exists though, even after 50 years and the company has now unveiled the stylish new 2013 Nitro tractor.

The 2013 Nitro, unlike a typical tractor is extremely stylish, having been designed by well known Italian automobile designer Giorgetto Giugiaro.

The stylish exterior features LED lighting on the front and dual LED lights on the rear. The image released also shows a dual tone paint job.

Lamborghini has not revealed detailed specifications, however, Nitro looks like a medium power tractor, fitted with a four-cylinder Deutz Tier 4i engine.

The drivetrain is offered is a mechanical five-gear system or a three-speed Powershift unit.

Brakes on the Nitro are oil immersed disc brakes, which are assisted by a servo motor.
The information released by Lamborghini is limited, however, it is the styling of the tractor that appeals to the 14 year old within us. What do you think?
