Lamborghini Gallardo India Edition Launch Tomorrow
On June 19th in Mumbai, that is tomorrow, Lamborghini is set to introduce a special edition Gallardo LP 550-2 specially made for India. A limited production model, the India special is expected to sport a special paint job unique to this model.
The Bolognese automaker has several times in the past made special edition models with the Italian tricolour integrated into the body graphics. It would be an easy guess thus, to think a similar special edition Gallardo LP 550-2 has been prepare for India.
The India edition Lamborghini Gallardo definitely won't be getting a performance boost of any sort. Powered by a 5.2 liter V8 engine, the Gallardo LP 550-2 achieves 100 km/h in 3.9 sec and reaches a top speed of 320 km/h, using 542 HP and 540 Nm torque.
Lamborghini Gallardo, first produced in 2004, is expected to be replaced by a new model at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September.
