Dubai Police Get Their First Lamborghini Aventador
Looks like Need For Speed will soon be a reality. We are not talking about the Hollywood movie which is still in production, but about the Dubai Police department. Cops in Dubai will soon be seen in Lamborghini Aventadors.
The Dubai Police force announced yesterday that they had procured their first Lamborghini Aventador supercar, which costs about $400,000 or INR 2.17 crores. The announcement was made on Twitter yesterday and has since then gone viral.

The Dubai Police Department's official tweet read "Latest #Dubai_Police patrols, now at your service."

This image shows the police department's Aventador being showcased outside the world's largest shopping mall.

Lamborghini Aventador has a top speed of 217 mph and can reach 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds.

However, those who are looking forward to seeing the first video of a Lamborghini in a la NFS style chase behind a crook on the straight desert roads of Dubai, will be disappointed. It seems the police department's Aventador will mostly be used as a tourist attraction.

Dubai police department is not the only one who uses a Lamborghini though. This here is a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, a fleet of which belongs to the Italian law enforcement agencies.
