Jaguar F-Type India Launch On July 8
While the Indian auto industry is passing through one of its toughest phases, Tata Motors has taken up an aggressive stance to market its products. Earlier this week the automaker launched 8 new models, spanning its entire lineup of hatchbacks, compact sedans and SUVs. The struggling Nano received a major mid-life refresh in the form of a CNG variant and several personalization options.
The renewed activity in the Tata Motors camp is not limited to its own branded vehicles. Early next month, July 8th to be precise, Tata owned British brand Jaguar will launch the highly attractive F-Type convertible for India, seemingly undeterred by the dropping value of the Indian Rupees.
Jaguar F-Type is available in three variants. There is the 340 HP, 450 Nm torque, 3.0 liter V6 engine base F-Type. This followed by the F-Type S, which using the same 3.0 liter engine, delivers 380 HP and 460 Nm of torque. Last in line is the F-Type V8, which is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 delivering 495 HP and 625 Nm of torque.
However, in India the base F-Type will not be offered. For more details about the F-Type you can read our previous articles here.
