Desire: A 13-Min Short Film Starring Jaguar F-Type
The one word that can be used to describe the 2014 Jaguar F-Type convertible is "beautiful". What could be a better proof of its excellent design than the fact that the Jaguar F-Type won the 2013 World Car Design of the Year.
To make people fall in love with the F-Type even more Jaguar decided to actually make a Hollywood movie. Titled ‘Desire' it is a mini movie that has all the ingredients of a typical Hollywood movie. ‘Desire', a Jaguar produced mini movie, premiered at Sundance London earlier this month, following which it was launched on YouTube.

The film, produced in association with Ridley Scott Associates, is directed by British television director Adam Smith.

The movie stars British actor Damian Lewis, Spanish artist Jordi Mollà and the gorgeous Shannyn Sossamon from Hollywood.

Director Adam Smith described the movie as "A story of betrayal, retribution, passion and greed."

True to his word, the movie does feature all the characteristics of a typical Hollywood flick. There is drama, action, high speed car chase, suspense, great music and of course the Jaguar F-Type.

Desire has been shot in the Atacama Desert and the Jaguar F-Type truly comes alive speeding along the deserted stretch of the highway.

Jaguar F-Type is powered by acclaimed 5.0-litre V8 engine, rated at 495 hp (364 kW) and 625 Nm (463 lb-ft) of torque.

The F-Type can do 0-100km/h in 4.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).

In India the Jaguar F-Type's expected starting price is around INR 70 lakhs
