Infiniti’s Q30 Premium Compact Concept Heads To Frankfurt
Infiniti, the luxury brand owned by Nissan, is known for its stunningly futuristic concept designs. If you are not familiar with Infiniti's style of vehicle design, take a look at the rendering of the of the new concept car which they will be unveiling at the Frankfurt Auto Show on 10th September.
The new car, called the Q30, is a Premium Compact Concept car, will be the brand's first foray into the compact luxury car segment. This means, when it will make its transmission from concept to production form it will take on products such as the Mercedes-Benz A Class and BMW 1 Series.

The Q30 is a continuation of Infiniti's design philosophy seen in the Q50, which made its world premiere at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January, albeit in a compact body form. "In our quest to appeal to the modern, young-minded premium customer, the Infiniti Q30 Concept has a distinctive style and reaches new levels of product quality," says Infiniti.
The Q30 is also the first Infiniti product to be headed by Alfonso Albaisa, Infiniti Executive Design Director. "Q30 Concept is slender, sleek and seductive," said Alfonso Albaisa. "When you see speedy big cats, like cheetahs, they have a slenderness and a lightweight stride. It's almost like they're floating. That's the muscularity we were aiming for with Q30 Concept."
In addition, the Q30 is the first Infiniti product which has been influenced, from its inception, by Sebastian Vettel, who is the honorary Director of Performance at Infiniti. As part of the job description the three time F1 World Champion provides his input to infuse the brand with race-bred performance.
