Gilt, Infiniti Announce Designer Q50 Sport Sedans
Gilt, is a website for everything premium, expensive and luxurious. The boutique online store has a history of teaming up with automakers to bring out one of a kind automobiles, wearing a premium price tag for those looking to own exclusive stuff.
Infiniti, the luxury brand of Nissan has teamed up with Gilt and has announced two bespoke 2014 Q50 sedans. Each of the Q50s has a unique style and has been designed by fashion designers Thom Browne and Zac Posen respectively.
The first Q50 wears a Justin Bieber like mirror finish chrome exterior. The rather tacky exterior is offset with a classy interior that features Browne's signature red, white and blue stripes on the seats and parts of the cabin, along with silver inserts.
To go with the Q50, Browne has also designed an exclusive luggage set and a solid silver card holder. These accessories are part of the package.
Next is Zac Posen Infiniti Q50. This one features a unique paint job that starts off with a silver matte finish that gradually transitions to high gloss dark grey towards the rear. The interior has been done in all sorts of luxirious materials such as velvet, shagreen, and leather, in rich shades of red that evoke red carpet glamour, this being the signature style of Posen.
The car comes with a limited edition ZAC Zac Posen Smartphone Clutch.
In addition, buyers of these two Infiniti Q50 sedans will also receive $10,000 Gilt online credits and a free Gilt style session.
Now for the price. The special 2014 Infiniti Q50 sedans come for $75,000 each, but the proceeds go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
