General Motors India Starts 24X7 Free Roadside Assistance Program
General Motors has announced it will provide free 24X7 roadside assistance to customers in India. However, this facility will be limited to customers who purchase GM vehicles from January 2014 only. The initiative is being deployed to enhance the ownership experience and provide round-the-clock hassle free support in case of emergencies anywhere in the country.
Chevrolet 24x7 Free Roadside Assistance can be availed in the event of vehicle immobilization due to mechanical or electrical breakdown, road traffic accident, battery drainage, fuel scarcity, tyre problems and locked/lost key amongst others. All a customer needs to do is call the following 1800-103-8090 (toll-free) or 0124-4388090.
Meanwhile, existence customers will be available the facility by paying an annual fee of Rs 1,000 or Rs 2,700 for three years under warranty.
"Customer is the most important facet of our business. With the launch of the roadside assistance program, we are taking the ownership experience a step further by ensuring complete peace of mind and comfort. The initiative includes special care for our customers in the event of vehicle immobilization such as free taxi provision and towing facility anywhere in India," said P Balendran, Vice President, General Motors India.
