Ford Everest Concept Revealed In Australia Hints At Endeavour Facelift
Ford in Australia has revealed the Everest concept, an SUV which is locally designed and developed and is also sold as the Endeavour in Asian markets, including India. The Everest Concept will go into production next year. India is expected to be in the list of countries where it will launch.
The Everest Concept was only one of the many new vehicles that were announced today by Ford Australia. Though the American automaker will stop local production by 2016 it still aims to maintain a significant presence Down Under by offering imported products. Towards this end, the company will launch 11 new models through 2017.

Coming back to the Everest Concept or the next gen Endeavour. Details about the new SUV have not been released. The Endeavour facelift due for next year will most likely come with a 2.2 liter and a 3.0 liter turbo diesel engine. Ford could also introduce a 2.0 liter EcoBoost petrol engine, but this cannot be guaranteed, at least not in India.

Looking at the Everest Concept we can see the prominent trapezoidal chrome grill, which is a part of Ford's present design language, also seen on the EcoSport. 2015 Ford Endeavour in India will take on the Toyota Fortuner and other's in the segment. Ford will continue local assembly using knockdown kits, hence keep the cost in check.
