Ford EcoSport Launch Confirmed For June 26th

After almost an year and a half Ford has finally announced the launch date for the EcoSport compact SUV. The long anticipated (longer than it should have been) budget SUV will be launched on Wednesday, June 26 in Delhi.

The launch remains more of a formality, where the price will be announced, the only detail which Ford India has refrained from releasing till now. Yet, this is THE crucial piece of information which can make or break new product.

However, after all the hype and months of campaigning later, Ford is unlikely to make a mistake with the pricing. The EcoSport is expected to emerge as the cheapest SUV in its segment.

Meanwhile, EcoSport bookings have been on for some time now. The booking price for the EcoSport is Rs 50,000. Ford even started shipping units to its dealers across the country a few days back.
