Ferrari Talks Of A More Powerful LaFerrari
Apparently Ferrari is not satisfied with the LaFerrari. Not that the LaFerrari has underperformed in anyway. But its sounds as if Ferrari wants to take up a new challenge since all 499 LaFerrari's have been spoken for already.
LaFerrari's chief designer Flavio Manzoni has told Autocar that a super exclusive version of the LaFerrari will be developed that will be more extreme than the present car. More specifically, Ferrari will most likely try and bring down the weight of the LaFerrari further down to just 1000 kg from the present 1255 kg, improving its power to weight ratio.
Though it was not revealed how many of these ultra exclusive extreme LaFerrari hypercars will be built, Autocar feels, the number will be 10 units or perhaps even less. So, the price to be expected would be in the region of $3 million to $5 million (INR 18 crore to INR 30 crore).
"When we were producing the original design proposals for LaFerrari," Manzoni told Autocar, "there was one proposal that I thought was especially beautiful. So we decided to keep that one back for something truly special in the future."
