Life Size Lego Ferrari 150 Italia F1 Car Unveiled
2013 Formula 1 season has begun. The first race of the season, the Rolex Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne will take place on Sunday, 17th March. Ferrari's single seater racer this time is the F138, but a different Ferrari Scuderia F1 grabbed attention on Thursday.
This was a Ferrari 150 Italia F1 race car. The one which the Italian constructor raced in the 2011 season. The special thing about this racer was that it is built from Lego bricks.

In a promotional event held by Ferrari sponsor Shell in Australia, race drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa unveiled the full scale model of the Ferrari 150 Italia F1 car made entirely from lego bricks. The event was held in collaboration with Ferrari and the LEGO Group.
The 1:1 scale model of the Ferrari 150 Italia was constructed by experts, who took several months to design and build it. The Lego model features real Pirelli slick racing tyres, an exact model of the steering wheel, a seat that fits a real driver and a cockpit with enough space to accommodate a person.
Shell also announced that starting from Monday, 18th March Shell petrol stations will start selling limited edition models of exotic Ferrari cars such as the 250 GT Berlinetta, the F40, the FXX and the 458 Italia.
