Ferrari 458 Speciale Previewed In First Video
After releasing high-res images of the upcoming 458 Speciale and giving us the details about the stripped down powerhouse, Ferrari has now come out with the first video previewing the supercar.
The video, which is more of a teaser, provides close ups of various sections of the 458 Speciale, including the interior. But the best part of the video comes towards the end when we get to hear the roar of the most powerful naturally aspirated engine that Ferrari has ever used on a production car.
Ferrari 458 Speciale is the successor to the 430 Scuderia, which itself was preceded by the 360 Challenge Stradale. 458 Speciale is a lighter, more powerful version of the 458 Italia.
The Prancing Horse comes with several upgrades, including active aerodynamics, new electronics, significantly lighter body and of course, a more powerful engine. With 0-100 km/h and 0-200 km/h times of 3.0 sec and 9.1 sec respectively, the 458 Speciale is the third fastest Ferrari to lap Fiorano. A time of just 1:23.5 sec.
