Felipe Massa & Williams F1 Sign Deal For 2014
Brazilian Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa has signed a deal with Williams F1 team following the announcement of his retirement from Ferrari earlier this year. Massa will get Finnish Valtteri Bottas as his Williams teammate as he replaces Venezuelan Pastor Maldonado.
"When I was a kid, I always dreamed of racing for Williams, Ferrari or McLaren and I'm glad to be signing with another icon of the sport," stated Felipe Massa.

As for Maldonado he is likely to take the empty slot which will be left behind in Lotus as Kimi Raikkonen will move to Ferrari to replace Massa next year. It's also possible for Maldonado to get a seat with Force India.
Williams F1 has signed a three year deal with Massa who is changing team after having driven Ferraris for 8 long years. For Williams, Massa is a critical acquisition as the severely out of form team looks to get back to its glory days with Massa's experience. Williams F1, a legend of the motorsport, has had an exceptionally bad year, having hardly won any races and positioned ninth among 11 teams.
The major engine changes coming into effect with the 2014 season will mean a fresh start for all teams. This gives Williams a good chance to leave behind its terrible performance during the 2013 season, with Massa as its lead driver.
