Datsun GO+ MPV Specifications Revealed For Indonesian Market
Nissan's budget brand Datsun is scheduled to make its arrival in India in early 2014, but the we already have the very first details about the Datsun GO+, the compact MPV, emerging from the Indonesian market.
In Indonesia, where MPV is a popular segment of vehicles the GO+ will be the first Datsun to be launched, while in India it will be the GO hatchback. Here are some specifications about the Indonesian spec GO+ as per the brochure.

Datsun GO+ will make use of the 1.2 liter three cylinder petrol engine from the Micra that's been retuned. The same engine is also likely to be used to power the Datsun GO. The engine in the Datsun GO+ develops 68 PS power and 104 Nm of torque and is coupled with a 5 speed manual transmission driving the front wheels.
Fuel efficiency is yet to be revealed. Though one factor that should help improve mileage is its incredibly light weight. The GO+ tips the scales at just 794 kg. That's an incredible 386 kg lighter than Maruti Ertiga.

The wheels measure 13 inches covered in tyres measuring 155/70. The small sized wheels is just one way of cutting cost.
Datsun GO+ is a compact MPV, which means, despite providing seating capacity for 5+2 passengers it will still measure under 4 meters. We can claim with confidence, even though we haven't seen the car yet, that the interior won't offer best in class space. The GO+ measures 3,995 mm long, 1,635 mm wide and 1,485 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,450 mm.
Datsun GO+ is being offered in Reddish Gold, White Solid, Silver Metallic, Grey Metallic and Black Solid colours in Indonesia and is expected to be priced around Indian equivalent of INR 5 lakhs.
