2013 Chevrolet Cruze Facelift Launched Silently
Chevrolet India has now got into a habit of keeping new car and facelift launches low key. Yet again the disgraced American automaker in India has chosen to launch the facelifted Cruze sedan only via its Facebook fan page and its website. The new Cruze is available for INR 13.75 lakhs.
The 2013 Chevrolet Cruze facelift comes comes with a new dual-port front grille with gold bowtie, newly designed front and rear bumpers, new dual bezel design headlamps, new alloy wheels and new fog lamps with chrome surround across all trim levels.
Chevrolet Cruze sedan comes with a 2.0 liter diesel engine that outputs 164 BHP and 380 Nm of torque, which can be matched with either a six speed manual or automatic transmission.

Post its Tavera fiasco GM India has maintained a low profile and its main priority at this time seems to be to gain back lost credibility. The fudging of weight and engine figures of the Tavera MPV by GM officials has officially been termed by government appointed authorities as committing corporate fraud.
In other Chevrolet news, GM has also announced a five year warranty for the Sail U-VA hatchback as part of its festive offer. This coincides with the hatchback's first anniversary in India. In addition, those buying the vehicle will also get a chance to win a gold coin weighing 10g. Chevy U-VA has a starting price of INR 4.30 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi)
