Domino's Chevrolet Beat/Spark Pizza Delivery Car
Chevrolet Beat, which is known as a Spark in the United States is a perfect small car for driving through city. Perhaps why pizza maker Domino's chose it as their pizza delivery car. But before it could be employed, one had to be designed for the job.
While hiring a car designer would be one way to get the job done, the other, equally effective way would be to start a car design contest and finalize on the best design and reward the winner. Domino's did exactly this with its "5 Stage Domino Ultimate Delivery Vehicle Challenge".

The contest, started in August 2012, aimed to conceptualize a vehicle that would cost no more than $20,000 or INR 10,87 lakhs.

The contest has come to a conclusion now, with the winner being announced as Romanian designer Marian Cilibeanu.

The winning design, called "D-Box2" won in three out of four categories - exterior rendering, interior rendering, night scene - and was the best in exterior rendering.

Marian Cilibeanu's D-Box2 has an eye catching design, with Domino's brand logo decorating the exterior and the front grille, along with "out for delivery" sign on the doors and a lit "Domino's" car top sign.

Other unique features include the Pizza "Oven" door on the side, for common deliveries, a "Red Module" on the right hand side of the driver, again for common Cola orders and a "Blue Module" at the rear for not so common orders.

Organised with the help of Local Motors community, 5000 of these Chevy Spark pizza delivery cars will be built, one for each Domino's franchise in the U.S
